Mini Hub
Our Spotty Enviro Club received funding from the NPDC Waste Levy Fund and extra help from Mitre 10 this year to set up this awesome recycling Mini-Hub. In 2021 most classes went to visit the Junction Zero Waste Hub and learnt about things which can be recycled there. Children designed and then painted these hungry monsters and our amazing caretaker Jeff Scouller set up the space in our old sandpit by the junior classrooms. We would love anyone from the local community to use the hub outside of school hours, or to send the special recycling items to school with their children. These are things like dental care items, coffee pods, tetra pak, milk bottle lids, plastic bag tags, gladwrap and ziplock bags. Watch the video to see how to feed the hungry monsters!
