Spotswood Primary students are encouraged to participate in various sports, including individual and team sports.
We enter a wide variety of school teams in New Plymouth competitions such as hockey, touch, cricket, rippa rugby, miniball, basketball, and netball. Students are also offered opportunities in other sporting areas such as rippa rugby, cross country, fitness, athletics, and league. We regularly receive expert tennis, hockey, football, fitness, athletics, and more coaching. During winter, our senior students participate in an Interschool competition, playing netball, football, hockey and rugby against other New Plymouth schools.

School Teams
Students get offered a lot of oportunities to participate in teams both in school and out of school. Coming up this term will be cross country and touch rugby.
