Supporting your child's learning at home
The Ministry of Education has released some information you may find helpful about how you can support your child's learning at home. This could be due to your child being unable to come to school for medical reasons.
You can help your child's learning every day, by supporting and encouraging them and being excited by their learning. Here are some ideas to keep them developing their literacy and numeracy skills at home. Have a look at the year group for your child and have fun. The website is organised into year levels. Just follow the appropriate year level for your child.
We have created a document we thought might be useful for whānau at home. It has websites and apps that we use at school or know are suitable for you to use at home. Feel free to give us feedback on what you think of these via an email to your child's teacher.
